We are doing well here in East Africa! We wanted to let all of you know that we are in Tanzania ( the country just below Kenya) for about two weeks. We have come to TZ with our team because of the current situation in Kenya. 2 weeks ago the Kenyan Military went into Somalia to flush out the terrorist organization there. Because of the uncertainty of the situation we decided to temporarily relocate while we observe the situation. We also had 8 brand new students 8 days old in Gtown at this point and decided it was too risky to have so many new people around without knowing enough about any possible backlashes.
So we are here as a family until Nov the 8th when we return to Nairobi and we evaluate the situation again together with our leaders. We have had no attacks or problems in our town we just decided it would be better to err on the side of caution with so many unknowns. We have never felt in danger we know God is watching over us! We fully believe and ask you to pray with us that we will return to our town on Nov 10th to continue with the ministries that God has given us there! We ask that you would pray for our family during these transitional times and especially fro Kenya and Somalia! We know our God is greater than any of this and we believe He has good plans through this! Blessings on you all we will blog again soon to keep you updated!!
Love

Do you have access to Skype in your temporary digs? Please be safe! I love you!
Praying for you in this "inbetween" time...for wisdom and God's use of you...and for Gtown in the upheaval there.
I know I've said this already, but please be safe. I read this article on the BBC website today and it has me extremely worried.
I just thought you should know that I've had some correspondence with Dan Germo that was extremely reassuring. You have a great support system behind you!
