Here are pictures from a Lutheran church we attended in Tanzania. Women sat on the left side while the men sat on the right. At the end of service the Youth (People not married not necessarily teenagers) were practicing dancing to the keyboard which looked very similar to the electric slide. I got to join in along with the Bethany interns and we had a lot of fun.

Another week has passed that I have not been able to return home. Unfortunately two weekends ago there was an unfortunate happening in our town. This complicates the decision for us to return. My desire is to be there and continue visiting my neighbors and helping the different villages where there is an open door. Then there is always wisdom to consider. If the Lord wants our family to be there for many years to come, then sometimes we will have to remove ourselves from a crisis for a short time in order to be there for long time. This was totally not my plan to be in Tanzania because of what has been happening in my town. I am reminded that none of this has surprised the Lord. He remains fully in control. Please pray with us to follow what God has planned.

I have been reading Ecclesiastes over and over. I love that God always sees the full picture of what is going on in the world from beginning to end. "He has made everything beautiful in its time." Ecclesiastes 3:11
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pick up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones up together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace."
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
