Update on Gtown

So we have been living the nomadic lifestyle for the past 2 months. In October Kenya invaded Somalia in order to try and secure its border. There was a series of events that led to this: mainly a series of kidnappings that took place within Kenya's borders. There were 5 people kidnapped 4 foreigners and one Kenyan. Because of this Kenya felt the need to secure its border so Kenya went in to Somalia. Which made us evaluate our situation based on the uncertainty of the impact it would have. We decided that with 8 brand new students on the ground it was best to temporarily relocate them for the language learning part of their training.

The plan was for us to relocate them and then return to G town. During the time we were relocating them an attack occurred in our town at a Local church. After that occurred we were sure that we made the right decision. Thank the Father. So we pushed our dates to return back until we felt that Kenya had a handle on the new events and security.

So we had planned to return in early December and then two attacks were carried out simultaneously in public places in G town. So currently we are still in Tanzania with the interns doing classes and seeking the Father on our next steps. We plan to return home in Jan but we are truly in the hands of the Father. Its a very hard season there were so many things that were just about to take off and have an impact. I truly believe that Daddy has a plan in all this what it is I have no idea but I know He does.

I know the question that some people have asked why don't you come home? We do not feel that is an option for us we do not feel that the Father is telling us to do that. We also understand that people do not agree or understand that. But this is the life we have been called to in this time and that we know. Some how we know that this is going to work out for His good.
