Saturday at the farm.

This is a picture of the water being pumped from the river a few months back.
This is how it looks now. They planted some Sudan grass to prevent the soil/sand from erosion. The grass is also used to feed the animals.
The cows and goats are fed the older leafy greens from the farm. They know when someone is bringing their food and start mooing very loudly.
Our good friend Teddy came out to the farm with us. He checked the tractor's engine and went down to the river with Jason to make sure the pump was working well.
We are walking around the whole farm to see the progress of each section.
The greenhouse has really improved since the Tucker Swamp Baptist Church came out and rescreened all the walls.

Inside there are tomatoes, spinach and managu ( a leafy green)
Here are the fish pond for the training plot. It is a test plot right now just to see how everything goes before teaching students how to do the same thing.
In the past 2 weeks, 6 baby goats were born. My girls have named them. If they had their own way they would spend the whole day in the goat house.

Righteous and Nevaeh helped pick Green Peppers. Jason only wanted them to pick off the big ones, but often they would pick one off and then ask him if they were big enough.

Righteous and Neaveh also washed the green plants and helped carry  them with Teddy.

Here is what the other two were doing when they weren't sitting in the truck eating up all the snacks I brought.

Great post full of pictures! It was fun showing Eleanor to help her see what it will be like when we come to visit!

I see that Charis and Samara were trying to hot-wire the tractor!

Charis and Samara have such far out imaginations. They were "driving around to different place and dropping each other off and then picking each other up."

Jenny it is unreal that you will be coming here in January!
