We are still having an Easter lunch with my mom, My sister and her husband and son from Massachusettes, and my youngest brother Nate and his girlfriend. Sadly we were going to celebrate with more relatives but canceled because of the sickness. I had advised the Bethany Interns to treasure each moment they have with their families for the 2 weeks before they head back to College and I am also doing the same. We hope that you all have a wonderful Easter

Living in America
Tomorrow it will be one week for us to arrive in America. The first four days was filled with eating and visiting with my (Rebekah's) family, adjusting to the freezing cold weather, and trying to get the kids to sleep past 5am. Then sickness began, very minor for me, but full blown for Righteous and Nevaeh. They have NEVER been this sick in Kenya. There were times they were throwing up every 30 minutes. We have been trying to keep them hydrated with Pedialite, and EmergenC packets, along with Sprite and Ginger Ale. We also put a teaspoon of Cola syrup on some ice and had them sip that. I want to ask for prayer because their little bodies are not use to the "foreign" virus' of America. I thank the Lord that today Righteous has been on her feet and has stopped vomiting. Nevaeh has not stopped yet but it is becoming less.

Lord, heal the Witt fam and keep them strong for the rest of there time in America.
Praying also for the culture shock to go smooth.
Love you guys,
Melissa
So stinkin' sorry!!! Praying for you guys, go but some "Airborne" vitamin drink for the rest of your trip. It always seemed to help my kids fight off those nasty America germs! ;)
