Minnesota

Jason and I attended a furlough seminar with 3 other missionary couples, for 2 weeks. It covered a wide range of topics: marriage, child safety, security, communication, and technology updates. They provided childcare the whole time- which were the interns from Kenya as well as interns from other countries. It was a busy time but also a restoration time, getting to exchange stories and here from missionaries who have been on the field for 10,20,30+ years.
We got to go up to Northern Minnesota to visit one of the mission teams that came out to G-town. We got to reconnect right away and begin discussions for another team coming next year. Their church has raised more funds that will help complete a hospital that they had roofed.
Nate Hadrava's family (one of our former interns), provided for all four of us to get our teeth cleaned at the dentist. Thank you so much Pam and Rory for this wonderful gift and hosting our family.

We were able to spend time with so many friends that were attending college the same time we were there at the Alumni picnic. We went to worship chapel 3 times and got prayed for each time. Twp of our former interns, Melissa and Rebecca arranged a Kenya picnic for all those who had come and those who would be going in September and 34 were in attendance. We had such a lovely time in the Midwest.
