There are so many new changes going on in the village where the agriculture project is underway. Come and let me tell you and show you.
These are the fishtanks that will enable people from the community as well as those traveling from other parts of the country, to learn how to take care and breed a fish pond. Trenches were dug in the ground to carry pipes from the water tank to fill the fish tanks.
The big water tank that will supply water for the farm is 3x the size of this water tank that Righteous and Nevaeh are climbing. It was quite a challenge fitting it up onto a stand that was built 15 feet. It took Jason and the local crew 4 hours with trial and error.
This is one of the two dorm building that are in the process of being built. It will enable people to come on sight and live here for the 4-6 week classes on how to develop and maintain land.
The new interns have arrived. These are the girls and Ebony, who will be here for 6 weeks. They came out to the agriculture project yesterday. They will start Kiswahili classes on Monday.
This is the water pump that we were able to carry over from Pennsylvania. Yesterday it was installed into the river. It has been working, and pumping water- what a huge blessing.
