The finished product

Just a few weeks before the interns left they some people from Holly's church gave funds to repaint, repair, and reorganize one of the local schools. The interns had to leave before getting to see the students return to their school with all the new changes. Today me and the children got to stop by and see them back and learning in the finished product. There is so much space and the bright new colors make such a difference to the environment. I want to post some pictures of before and after. We pray that these children will feel the love of God and know they are special. We also pray that Holy Spirit will reveal the one true God to them.
Holly and Bbecca were going to this school once a week to do biblical art projects with the students.
All the kids always love it when Jay will sing songs with and too them. He gets "really into it". One time at this school he was enthusiastically clapping away to "Pharaoh let my people go" and continued clapping loudly long after everyone else had stopped- unknowingly.
 Abbie and Carrie helping paint.
Here is Jason with our friend Rueban a fellow co-worker for the Lord. Jason can do anything. He was able to build the desks in the background with a short team trip a couple of years ago. The interns repainted them. This time Jason built shelves and bookcases to help organize the school's supplies.
Some of the students happy to be back in school. You can see the clip boards hung up in the background that will be used to show their papers and art projects they do.
Here is the beautiful teacher, who I have known since the very first time I went to Kenya in 2002. Jason built her a full sized chalkboard which will serve better for teaching.
