Allison is here from North Carolina!

Josephine is holding up a "pillow case" dress and I am wearing an apron Allison made.

There is a tree with clothes drying on it in the background. Women collecting money and recording it in the book.
I have never met Allison before. This is her fourth time in Kenya and usually she is serving in a different part, but this time she came to our town. She brought so many goodies. Yesterday we went to a women's group which is basically a merry go round giving. They all put their in and then two get the big lump sum. They can use that to set up a "small business" which usually consists of making mats. Allison brought material for each of the  women as well as thread and a needle. She was able to show them how to sew a hem and I modeled the apron she made for me the day before. We had such a great afternoon spending time with the women. Allison joined in a dance at the end in the center of a circle.
Making a mat.

Josephine passing out needles.

Charis is passing the same material her dress is made out of. Allison made the dress for her.
