There have been some big changes in our town to try and bring protection to everyone who lives here. We have a military enforced curfew 6am-6pm. We see many KDF (Kenya Defense Forces ) patroling the streets. Despite these increased efforts there are still some that no longer feel safe. We work with nurses from the Government Hospital each week at the clinic at the farm. This past Thursday the nurse told me she is going to ask to be re-assigned, even after living here for many years. I will be sad to see her go. She has a heart for the people and they really trust her. She said it is not only her that is asking to be re-assigned but all the non muslim nurses.
Our big challenge right now, is that the supermarket that we sold the produce from the farm to shut down for good due to the insecurity. Now Jason is having to search for individuals to sell to and it is more time consuming. On the flip side of that, he gets the chance to build a lot of relationships.
As a family we are honored to live here for such a time as this.
I like watching my kids laugh, play, and live there lives with such freedom. They are completely free from worry or fear. Each day continues as the day before with friends and exploring God's creation. They are confident that we are going to take care of their needs, of food, shelter, clothing etc. They show no signs of feeling insecure at all. I realize a lot of that is because through different events, Jason and I have always remained calm even when there is a crisis going on. They have never seen Mom and Dad freak out, so there is no reason for them too. They fully trust we will make the right decisions and never put them in danger. It is such a gift to me to see the peace in my girl's lives. I give credit to the prayers of the Saints and the work of the Holy Spirit. It teaches me to see my Heavenly Father in an even deeper level, than how my daughter's view us as parents. He is with us. He uses us for His purpose. His will be done.

It is amazing how much Righteous still looks the same as when she was 2!
Such a blessing to know that we can fully trust in God!
It's been amazing to see how the LORD is being sovereign over everything. I have been trusting the LORD for your protection as well as everyone there. I am happy to hear all these updates and praise HIM for all that. Blessings!
