Adam's Blog

In coming to visit the Witt’s we were dropped right into the middle of their daily lives and ongoing ministries.  2 weeks or so before we arrived here Jason was called by a family in the village asking him to take a young boy to the hospital.  When he got to the village the boy was in pretty bad shape.  His face and arms were seized up and he was starting to foam at the mouth.  Jason rushed him to the hospital in town while fervently praying for the boy’s life.  I was able to see the fruit of those prayers and the prayers of others when I went with Jason to the hospital 14 days later.  I rode with Jason when he took the boy and his family back to the village and was able to witness a special moment in Jason’s ministry.  When we drove up to the hut where the boy lived his family came running to him calling his name excitedly.  They were obviously joyous that he had returned home healthy.  After hugging and kissing they all turned to Jason and thanked him for all that he had done to help.  Jason realized that this was the time to share the reason why he was so eager to serve them.  The love of Christ was shown in that moment and we should all be in prayer for the family that was ministered to.  It was an honor to witness that moment in Jason’s ministry to these people he has poured his life out to.  We should all be asking God for opportunities to share the love of Christ and be eager to act when those opportunities arise.  Christ is everything to us. Therefore we should give everything back to Him in praise honor of who He is.
