"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day" verse 16.
Time here on earth is temporary, we are just a
"mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. (James 4:14)
We have all of eternity to look forward to be with our Lord, our Savior and friend. We will get new bodies that won't be able to contract sickness or diseases which the world is currently yearning for. God himself will wipe every tear from our eyes and there will be no more heartache or pain. Unfortunately this will not be the case for everyone. Those who do not find their names in the book of life will be "consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfer." (Revelation 19:14, 21:8) When I read all this from God's Word, the Bible, I have the urgency to let others know so they can make the biggest decision that will determine where they will spend eternity? It all comes down to believing that Jesus is "the way, and the truth, and the life." (John 14:6) There is no other way to spend eternal life with God except through Jesus. I want everyone to know this and be spared of torture and torment. As we have lived here for over 13 years every now and then we come across someone that has the same eagerness but promoting Islam.
Every month I attend a meeting with other ladies to learn more about what our neighbors believe. We care about our neighbors deeply so see it significant to be aware of the beliefs central to their core. I have recently researched about one way Islam is spread. It is called "dawa, which is the Islamic mission. All Muslims have a duty to witness and try to convert people to Islam. But dawa is more than winning individual converts. It also includes gain control of society as a whole, by influencing political, legal, academic, financial and other structures." (Engage- Barnabas Fund)
Jason encountered a man outside the grocery store who was seated in a car and gestured for Jason to come in for a conversation. This man proceeded to say there was only One God whose name was Allah and Mohammed was his prophet. He explained the importance of praying 5 times a day and giving "alms" to the poor people. He went on to say that each year everyone should fast for an entire month and if financially able should also travel to Mecca at least once in one'slifetime. This man wanted make sure Jason heard the 5 pillars in their entirety. When this man finished talking Jason began to share that he was a follower of Jesus but the man held up both of his hands to stop Jason from continuing on. This man did not want to listen to anything Jason had to say but instead wanted Jason to "bear witness " that he did his responsibility and told him how to get into paradise on judgment day, which was by doing those 5 deeds. Jason acknowledged that yes he listened and had heard this before but believes in Jesus. The man said that doesn't matter, all that matters is that he did bare witness to Jason.
May we as believers be challenged to be faithful to bear witness about Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
| It looks to me like this picture was photo shopped-perhaps an agenda-what do you think? |

Legalism and pharisaicalism is alive and well in other religions as well, apparently! Truly loving God first and truly loving our neighbor is what sums up the law and the prophets. May we do that well in the power and direction of the holy Spirit and our evangelistic and discipleship will produce fruit that remains! God's richest blessings as you continue to serve!🙂🙏
