| Vicki Noggle with her grandson Ezra. Vicki has come to visit us in Kenya twice. We got to see her in two different churches in Virginia. |

Our hearts are full after this time spent in Suffolk, Virginia. We got to spend time with Jason's siblings Ashley, Caleb, and Whitney. Jason's Mom was so kind to us by giving up her house for us to stay in. The Witt girls got some good quality time with all their cousins. They played all sorts of games like 4 corners, the "number" game, an alphabet game, paranoia and "Riverbank"- in which we put a strip of tape along the middle of the floor and everyone had to jump to one side or the other when the caller said River, or Bank. We took a walk into the woods and walks down Ashley's super long driveway. Got to do a shopping trip with Jason's Mom and enjoyed lots of conversations. Always so hard to say goodbye.
Another way we feel so loved is by spending time with those belonging to the family of God. We got to have a meal with the Worrell family- we were super excited to hear all their stories from going overseas on missions trips this year. We truly feel like we have so much in common with them, even as they had to drop off their Firstborn daughter, Cameron (one of Righteous` very best friends) at college. We got to see Vicki Noggle in two different churches- she is a lifelong loyal friend. Got to swap testimonies with Ashley and Steve Kinka- and Ashley blessed us by trimming and styling the girls and my hair. We are thankful for everyone who came to greet us in church, we always feel so welcomed. Girls had a blast spending the night at Marlee's house. Tiffany and Marlee helped us walk into the dining hall at church when we were feeling so shy and awkward. We feel a deep connection with them because of their heart for ministry and even missions. Lastly the Carr family went above and beyond to invite us to several amazing activities to share in together. In many ways we wish we had more time in Virginia and dream of what could be. We are confident that God is not finished with us in Kenya. We choose to fix our eyes ahead to returning there and being about His business. It isn't always easy but as long as we have breath we want to live for Jesus and go where He says go.
