Forgiveness of a child

We are house sitting for the next ten days which is a blessing because we have moved in with Jason's sista, Ashley (to be able to sell all our furniture and cut down on costs- still praying and believing we will make it to Kenya) and Ashley has gotten strep throaght and given it to Jason's brother so I am glad we are out of that house for a few days. And it never ceases to amaze me that God cares about the little things in our lives, like providing us this housesitting to come just in the right timing, not only the huge important things for we belong to Him and He wants to be apart of everything.
At this nice house we are taking care of a dog and 3 gold fish. Righteous just loves the dog and is always trying to hug her and lay her head on her like a pillow. Yesterday she was doing this when the dog was chewing on her toy and it snapped at Righteous and Righteous had a nice bloody cut on her mouth. From that point on the dog has been in her cage when Righteous is out and about. Today Righteous has completly fogotten what happened and keeps going over to the cage and giving the dog some of her scraps from snacktime and trying to stick her fingers inside to pet her. Whe Jason told people at church what had happened they asked, "is the dog dead?" he answered "no but it better not happen again" and he is watching even more with the cautious eye. I feel we can learn a lot from children on to forgive and immediatly forget and thus live life as if the hurful thing never even happened.
A quick update about us returning to Kenya, we just trimmed a few hundred dollars from our budget of stuff that was to high in the first place, which makes us closer to our target amount. My midwife is allowing us to flyout up until June 23rd any later and she said she would want to accompany us on the flight to be there to have an on flight delivery. I told her your very much welcome to ;) As soon as we actually purchase tickets instead of just reserving them I will be sure to let everyone know if you cannot already tell with the big beaming smile on my face.
