On memorial day it was exactly 1 year that you entered into this world
You were 5 weeks early.
Only 4 pounds and 2 ounces.
You were completely okay because of the Lord God. No complications, no hospital time, no cost whatsoever. I will never be able to forget what the Lord has done to create you, protect you, and continues to grow you each day. Soon you will be walking and talking. Right now you move around by scooting on your butt. Soon you will be friendly and be comfortable to go up and be with other people. Right now your favorite person is mommy. For now that is fine with me.

Happy Birthday Charis! I think we finally bonded during our last day together at the Children's Museum, when she fell asleep on my shoulders. The memories!
