The many faces we've seen

I have told several people that the average amount of days we have been in any location is 4 days, since arriving in the USA on April 18th. We can get a better idea of the nomadic people we live with in Kenya. As we have been traveling we have gotten our fill of fast food, almost have gotten bored of how easy it is to drive on the perfect roads, and have gotten tremendously encouraged being invited into homes for fellowship.

Jason and I have been able to spend time with many families and watch the interaction between husband and wife, and parents with their children. When families have chosen to have God be the leader and center of their household there is an anointing and we have always left feeling strengthen in our faith. Not to say that these families were perfect and not struggling with problems, but there was a certain peace that was evident because God was ultimately in control. We have been able to be open and honest about ministry, challenges, just life in general. The answer is not to make one another feel better but to look to Jesus and strive to live like Him.
