Here is a picture from the last few days when we were in Kenya. Our great friends from South Africa had return and we got to reunite with them. Here is there son Musa who was having fun in the mud with Righteous and Nevaeh. Our town had been getting a lot of rain which was a true blessing to begin to make a turn around from the famine.

Right before we headed to Tanzania we stayed a few nights in Nairobi. The Sisters of a Covenant made a quick opening of their convent for us. I kept having "How do you solve a problem like Maria" going on in my head from the Sound of Music. The interns have been such a delight in my children's lives as we all are adapting to the many changes right now. Similar to how I felt in the States when we traveled and stayed in 7 different States in 4 and a half month, we are living as nomads. Since we have arrived back in Kenya in September, we have moved around 5 times. The Lord is busy teaching is something. I hope I am a fast learner.

Tanzania is breathtaking. As soon as we leave the compound we are staying at there are hills to walk up and down to get to anywhere. We can see Mount Meru clearly in the distance from where we are. We drove around an hour to swim in hot streams-an oasis that is well hidden, and got to see Mount Kilamanjaro. (The second largest mountain in the world)

These pictures are from our first Sunday. We went to a small pentacostal church. The services, so far, seem to be a lot shorter than the ones in Kenya. A few other differences between the two countries:
*the taste of coke
*swahili words
*cops uniform (Tanzanians wear all white)
*lots of malt and malta drinks in Tanzania
*currency

There are two types of monkeys that are right outside our door. They make very strange noises at night. Although they don't come right up to us, they still seem very brave on how close they will get.

Unfortunately Righteous fell off a swing. She cracked a bone in her left arm right above her elbow. She only has to wear her cast for two weeks and has already gotten use to it. She is soaking up all the sympathy and showing everybody her xrays. Please pray for a fast recovery for her.

Love the picture of Musa and the girls! They look so happy to have been back together again.
Tell Righty to get better soon!
Oh poor Rightous! So glad you were able to receive good medical care. That was always one of the things that bothered me overseas, but Father always provided protection for us and never ceased to amazed me. Praying for your transition time that He will keep you content during a time of unknowns!
