We had to evacuate from our home again on Sunday. We received a phone call when we were in church that there were attacks on two churches in our town. Jason called his contacts within the police and before the call went through the police pulled up in a landrover instructing him to guard the gate there were some bads things going on on in town. He told the deacons to guard the church and then immediately we left and got all the interns who were attending different churches to go to our home. We all packed our things and left to go to Nairobi in a little under 3 hours from the first attack. Many people died and even more were injured. Sunday was such a sad day for the people in our town. Please be praying for the families who have lost a love one. Please pray that God would use this to push His Kingdom ahead. Our family is doing fine. We are safe and thank the Lord for His protection time and time again. Although it has been difficult to have to leave our home again- when we consider the devastation of the two churches, how can we complain. I have learned how to pack a little bit better each time we have to relocate. My children have gotten to be so flexible, sleeping in different places with different bathroom accomodations, and different schedules. We have mostly been able to keep their bedtime at 7pm which has been so nice to have that consistency. Ultimately I do not want you to worry about us, but instead worry about the country of Kenya as a whole. Evil is trying to prevail but God is more powerful. Let this be a time that people will call out to the One True God.
Even with all of this happening we are no better than the people who planned this attack we just know someone who is better, Jesus! Without Him we are exactly the same as the most depraved in this world! Jesus is the only thing that makes us good!
Please pray for our town and for Jesus to be glorified!

I will for sure be praying not only that God will give you guys peace during this time of uncertainty yet again but also that God will use these horrible things to open doors that would possibly never of opened for Him to transform the village!!
