Help Keep us Secure

Hello friends and family as most of you know things here in our home town have been up  and down as far as security goes!  We are constantly evaluating the security of our town and our home.  I know that many will never understand why we stay but so many of you do! When the Father has told you to do something it doesn't mean it will be all peaches and cream or in a more manly sense all slim jims and cokes!  We stay because we know for this time this is where we are supposed to be.  We love these people and this place so much but He loves them and it even more than we can imagine.


So with that being said we do wish to be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves.  We can take precautions to keep ourselves safe and we would like to do that more effectively.  I know so many of you pray for our safety and we ask you to continue we need that .  But many of you would like the opportunity to do more well I am going to give you one.  We as a family have decided that it would be a good investment to get a CCTV (security camera) system for our house here in Kenya.  I have priced them out installation and everything included cameras equipped with night vision and motion detected.  It will end up costing us just over $1000 dollars to do so.  It is an important investment but also an expensive one for family on our type of income.  Here is where we need your help for all those people who would like to be a part of our physical security team you can contribute.  Our home church will process any of the funding for this and it will all be tax deductible too! In other news we have gotten back to work we found the road to the farm washed out by flash flooding  and the diversion was very long and sandy. We decided to fix the road at least to make it so the vehicles could pass in 4x4.  We worked together with some of the villagers from our place here and managed to fix it in a half of a day.  We will start the clinic up again on Thursday we are very excited to be back in our community and we know that the Love of the Father is making a difference in a dark place.
