An honor to be a friend.

The mat we bought from the Women's Help Group. It matches my girl's purple  room so well.
Our friend and faithful mechanic lost his  last born son on Monday. He was less than a year old. Expenses are high for all the arrangements that need to be made. Jason carried the body and family in our vehicle for the burial, dropping me and the children off in Nairobi first. Jason felt it to be such an honor to mourn alongside this family. He got a chance to greet this village and was the very first white man to ever have come. He was only there 2 days but has some great memories of the place. Now we will spend a few more days with the Kelly family in Nairobi and then return home.

I wanted to post pictures of the tomatoes we are now harvesting at the farm. There are some new additions to the farm as well. Living Hope Church purchases goats! The greenhouse lost all the crops due to moles so the new goats are having a feast eating everything in there as well  as everything else they can get in their mouths.

Laura made this for my home school room.

It is so heartwarming to hear about the opportunities God gives you to love those He has placed you among.
