Rainy Season

Our yard
We came home yesterday to find it had rained (flooded) everywhere! In the town right next to ours we saw land that previously had been flat was now separated with a defined high ground and low ground with the small river still present in the middle. There was a big tree that had fallen down one of the roads and I heard rumors of people's outdoor toilets had completely collapsed. Rain can be a nuisance but overall there is a tremendous thanksgiving because this provided the much needed water for crops so that plants will grow and flourish providing food for many families. It is a blessing.

What do we do when we are mostly "stuck"" at home? Take photos! I have been wanting to update the pictures of my African Princesses on the right side of my blog, so today was the day. My Girlie girls are not shy at all when it comes to photo shoots.
Our gate where our cars come in and out.

Our dogs water bowl mixed with bugs.

Along with rain come BUGS!

These are bugs that were trying to come into our home because they are attracted to the light at night.
