Vicki Noggle's Update

Even though we spent many hours on planes, in an airport in Amsterdam and then a most unusual  several hour car trip. I find it almost unbelievable to say that I am writing this blog post from Kenya!
Our trip went extremely well! I saw the power of prayer in many areas during our travel. We were met with kindness in every situation . Checking in with slightly overweight luggage (but we weren't charged any extra), flights were on time, there was no problem getting Visa's or getting through Customs.
The ride to the Witt's home lasted several hours. Jason made a few stops for groceries along the way. He didn't even mention that he was going to stop, He would just pull over in a small settlement and the vehicle would be swarmed with people selling fruits, vegetables, whatever. Jason would get out of the car and the people that didn't follow Jason stayed by the vehicle staring us down, wanting us to buy from them. We just sent them to Jason and told them he was in charge of buying. They didn't give up easily!
Today we (the girls) went to a school for 4, 5 & 6 year olds. Bekah told the story of Samson about how God gave Samson his strength. The story was told in each  of the 3 classes and we did a Samson coloring and lacing craft the classes as well. Next week we will be doing a field day at the school, so Bekah shared with the children that they would need strength and endurance for field day.
After school we got to speak with Bekah's good friend, who is the lady that oversees the school. While speaking with her I realized that even though we thought we were coming just to encourage the Witt Family, but here was this woman who was so excited that we were here and what an encouragement we were to her.
