This is a very exciting time for us as a family! For the first time in our 7 years here we have a team from our home church! This is a huge deal for us! We are so looking forward to the time we will have together and all the amazing things that God will do in and through us!
Rebekah and I have always been big believers in short term missions teams. We know the teams have so many purposes that is how we received our calls into mission work by first going short term. We have also been blessed beyond measure in all ways by the many teams we have received while here on the field. Truth be told we love teams are they a lot of work????? Yes, but they are so worth it! The good we have seen accomplished in the lives of people here and the lives of the short term missionary is amazing!
They brought so many amazing things from the US Tucker Swamp and my momma have really out done themselves! The goodies just kept on coming! Literally thousands of dollars worth of tools, clothing and food! I cannot express our thankfulness enough to each and every person who took part! Thank you so much.
The team consists of 5 people from our home church Brandon, Adam, Blair, Vicki, and Keri. All of whom we know and love very much.(this is our first time meeting Keri we already love her) We are really very excited in case you cannot tell! During their time here we have asked them to blog on their experiences daily so that you all can see through fresh eyes and get a different perspective of what is going on in our town!
So............................. Stay tuned for a new perspective and fresh eyes
Grace and Peace

"...they were at their wits' end. Then they cried out to the Lord in their troubles, and He brought them out of their distress. He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs." Psalm 107:27b-28,35
