Sports Day

The day before we all planned out who was in charge of each event.
We had a Sports Day last year in July and I don't think I ever posted pictures from that fun day. Our home church Tucker Swamp Baptist helped to organize and facilitate it at one of our favorite schools in our town. The students had been practicing for several months before this day. We broke up the school into two groups, the red team against the blue team. All of the parents of the village were invited. Even the teachers participated in the events. The teachers were very competitive and laughed through out the entire day. When it was coming to the end, the parents began to ask if they could join in. We will have to plan that for next time because we were all very sweaty and tired. The blue team won and medals were distributed. Juice was handed out to all. The day was a success and we give thanks to God for allowing us to join in with this people group and have a day of games and be together as a community.
Samara had to get a blood test during the middle of the day because she had a fever. After some medicine she returned to cheer.

My buddy Grace.

Filling cups up with water at one end and dumping them out into a water bottle. We did this for Charis' birthday party too.

Keri holding down balloons so that the baby class could pop them.

Brandon holding down the water bottles so that the wind wouldn't take them.

Some of the parents trying to kick the soccer ball into the goal. Jason was the goalie.

Passing water balloons out for the toss.
